Carnotaurus was a large predator and lived in what is now South America. Characteristic of this dinosaur were two large horns on its forehead, a short deep skull and two extremely small forelegs. These were even smaller than the already short front legs of Tyrannosaurus Rex.

What is untypical for dinosaurs are the forward-facing eyes. This may indicate that Carnotaurus had spatial vision. Furthermore, skin impressions of this dinosaur have been found, so we know that its skin was primarily made up of cup-shaped scales.
