Game Update June 13, 2024 (EG Balancing Adjustments)
Around 8:45 AM UTC+2, game servers will restart for a game update to be deployed.
Event Preparations
We needed to address the stability attribute because it was possible to almost completely nullify the status effects Fear, Confusion, and Stun.
You can now skip the use of a full Extra Power bar if you want to use it with a later skill.
Summer Collection at Silver Lily's Emporium
Out with the old, in with the new! We are replacing some of our stock with fresh new items for summer!
Around 8:45 AM UTC+2, game servers will restart for a game update to be deployed.
Event Preparations
- Prepared the upcoming Dinoball event.
- Event NPCs now also sell country titles! We added a new "Title shop" button for this so that the event shop would not be overcrowded with too many items.
We needed to address the stability attribute because it was possible to almost completely nullify the status effects Fear, Confusion, and Stun.
- Maximum effectiveness of the Stability Implant is now reduced to about 50% shorter runtime of fear, confusion, stun status effects (at Implant level 55).
- Extra Power is now slowly charging over time during combat; this means that even if you are not taking damage during a fight, you will eventually gain full Extra Power.
- You need to have an active attack target within 5 levels of your ranger's equipment level range for the passive charging to work.
- Extra Power no longer depletes outside of combat; this means you can take all of your remaining extra power into the next battle.
- The Rage attribute also helps to speed up the passive charging of Extra Power.
- Less Extra Power is now gained from incoming damage to achieve a good balance with the new Extra Power passive recharge.
You can now skip the use of a full Extra Power bar if you want to use it with a later skill.
- Triggering skills with Extra Power works just like before (left mouse click or keys 1-4, E when Extra Power bar is full).
- Skip the use of Extra Power by holding the ALT key when you trigger a skill.
- If you are using the mouse to trigger skills, you can also right-click instead of using the ALT key.
- The Attacker buff is now only provided if the attacked site was held by a clan before (no buff when trying to take a site from Dinoville).
- The Attacker and Defender buffs will now also block status effects from being applied by Duelists and Outlaws who do not have the matching buff.
- When used without Extra Power, Fear now affects 1 target (previously up to 3 targets) for 3 seconds (previously 5 seconds).
- When used with Extra Power, Fear affects up to 3 targets for 7 seconds.
- Improved target fleeing direction calculation to search for a free space in order to avoid hitting collision too early.
- This means that if you would fear a target into a wall, that target will flee in a different direction.
- Added new "Panicked" status effect that is triggered when "Fear" does not find a valid fleeing direction (i.e. when the target is stuck in collision).
- "Panicked" makes the target follow you for as long as the status effect is running; collision is ignored.
